Ben MacNevin
June 29, 2015
The quality of data, and hence its relevance to intrinsic value, depends on the degree that it can be quantified. This concept may seem simple, but the recent turbulence in the Flight Centre (ASX: FLT) share price demonstrates it may be under-appreciated by the market. continue…

Russell Muldoon
June 29, 2015
It may just be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Free-to-air television advertising that is! Recent data published by Roy Morgan Research on Streaming Video On Demand (SVOD) services shows that since launching a few months ago, Netflix in Australia is absolutely killing it.

You have had a hard week at work. It’s Saturday…. at last. You sit down on the couch to relax and read the Sydney Morning Herald, and suddenly an article by Adele Ferguson hits you between the eyes….“IOOF’s boiler room throws customers to the wolves”. You are gutted.

Scott Shuttleworth
June 24, 2015
As we have previously noted, the demand for data in Australia (and the world) is growing at an exponential rate and the statistics are staggering. Trouble at SEEK?
Tim Kelley
June 23, 2015
SEEK Limited (ASX: SEK) this week released a trading update that contained some disappointing news. SEEK’s learning division has not performed as well as hoped in the second half of 2015, and SEEK now expects the second half of 2015 Net Profit After Tax to be broadly in line with the first half of 2015 – some 10 per cent short of what was implied by broker consensus.

David Buckland
June 23, 2015
The former great supermarket, petrol, liquor and hardware group Woolworths Limited (ASX: WOW) is paying McKinsey $45 million for management advice.
