Welcome to 2021. Play what is in front of you.

Welcome to 2021. Play what is in front of you.

In this week’s video insight David identifies why as investors we can only play what is in front of us. In reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, Central Banks have been printing money so Governments – which are running substantial deficits – can pay for financial assets, welfare programs, infrastructure and salaries for public servants.  Productivity reform is largely ignored, and together with ageing demographics and indebtedness, there is a handbrake to future economic growth. So, for 2021, what is in front of us?

Chief Executive Officer of Montgomery Investment Management, David has over 30 years of industry experience. David is a deeply knowledgeable and highly experienced financial services executive. Prior to joining Montgomery in 2012, David was CEO and Executive Director of Hunter Hall for 11 years, as well as a Director at JP Morgan in Sydney and London for eight years.
