With reference to the latest white paper and this video, I am reminded of an article I read twenty years ago in which the author (Athol Econamou, an observer of life possessing dry wit) was commenting on give aways in the retail sector said,” Give aways are a sign that the retailer has lost faith in their product and are attempting to clear their shelves as quickly as they can”. This is very common in the ag chemical sector and most often is the last promotion before the discontinuation of the line until it is rebirthed in new packaging a few years latter as memories dull. I see some parallels.
