Montaka’s Quarterly Update (Q3 2020)

In this quarterly update, Andrew Macken, Montaka’s Chief Investment Officer touches upon a range of possible medium-term economic outcomes. He also shares a brief update on the current portfolio positioning of the global strategies.

The quarter contained a number of very important developments that have changed the shape – in a favourable way – of the probability distribution of the range of possible medium-term economic outcomes. Andrew briefly  touches on these and then reiterates the case for our strategy of owning privileged business models with expanding advantages that, in the context of the economic environment we see, are immensely valuable.

Andrew Macken is the Chief Investment Officer of the Montaka funds and the Montgomery Global funds. He established MGIM in 2015 in partnership with Montgomery.
