Westpac has strong assets, is a good corporate citizen, and I’ll be buying more shares if the price dips below intrinsic value.

Maybe, but it does dominate the australia mortgage sector with CBA. So if Australia does goes through a recession in the distant future their balance sheet will be tested with higher provisions than say ANZ which has divested alot of this risk through an Asian play, and can easily raise fresh capital if need through its Asian division. Something Westpac lacks!
