Never too young to start learning?
The ASX established the Schools Sharemarket Game to teach high school students about investing and give them the opportunity to put their learning into practice.
Ron feels high school is too late to start his newborn son’s investment journey so has taken Warren Buffett’s advice…
I remember reading that Warren Buffett started investing around the age of 11 and he always mentioned that he wished he started 11 years earlier! Therefore I thought my 4 month old son, Lior, shouldn’t waste any time and start reading Value.able!
All the best,
Ron
And from Graduates already in the field…

Thank you Jesse, Michael, Young Les, Justin, Michael V, Matthew, Rad, Ron, Matt and John for sharing your Value.able adventures with our community.

G’day all,
Wish I had started reading Value.able when I was 4 months old. Great photo Ron, it was good to see you on Friday at the Trading and Investing Expo at Rogers talk.
Hi also to Roger, it was good to finally meet you. I really enjoyed your presentation on Friday at the Expo. You are a wonderful public speaker; there is no way that I would be game enough to get up on stage and talk to a huge crowd, so congratulations.
I had no idea about value investing, so after seeing your presentation, I finally got interested in learning how to really invest and stop speculating. Your book Value.able and your feedback and guidance and public speaking have caused me to undergo an amazing investing metamorphis.
Good one Roger.
Kindest Regards,
John M

Hi Ron,
Wareen Buffet before he started giving away his wealth had an estimate wealth in 2006 of 44 Billion.
So mate I have just calculated that if your little Lior is as good as WB and with those 11 years head start he will be worth 678 Billion at Warrens current age
Nice one mate

:
thanks Ashley.
i certainly do hope so, though i am worried that by the time lior is warren’s age, $678 billion wont be worth a lot at the rate that they are currently printing money all around the world!

Just tragic – its late afternoon and John is reading the book, rather than walking the bridge, one of the greatest West Coast sunset experiences around!
Roger Montgomery
:
Hi Lloyd,
I suspect he’d already done that.

:
Yeah, I always go walking with my investment library to hand!
