Happy Birthday!
The Montgomery Fund celebrates its second anniversary this weekend, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continuing support and encouragement.
Though it seems the investment landscape is fraught with peril at every turn, we believe that a singular focus on sound businesses purchased at rational prices and held for the long term will not only serve to produce superior long-run returns, but also offer a beacon upon whose light we can rely, to provide guidance and security.
May I also take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge the extraordinary contributions, abilities and personalities that have joined Montgomery to soundly steward the proportion of wealth you have entrusted to us.
To Ellie, Russ, Scott S, Tim, Ben, Andy, Scott P and David, congratulations and thank you. And to our friends at our favourite brokers, our bankers and administrators at Fundhost – thank you, too. We are grateful for your support and service, which helps us focus on performing to the best of our abilities for our investors.
And to you, thank you. We remain at your service and we look forward to working for you for many years to come.
