  1. Hi Roger,

As a trader who had a terrible time investing in the wrong stocks, i thankyou for Skaffold. I have called a few of the directors who run the companies i have invested in to see how the future looks. The problem is as i am not an experienced investor and i dont think im asking the right qestions . I was hoping you could list some basic questions i could put forward to them to better understand if they are on track to grow going forward.
    Thanks Roger

    • Hi John,

What a fantastic question. if you have the patience, we are working on something that will help you with that and it will be available soon.

  3. Hi,

      Hi Tony

I subscribe to the feeds and then I can look at the ‘Unread feeds’ in ‘Windows Live Mail’.

    • Hi Tony,

I recommend trying an RSS feed reader

Most internet browsers (ie Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari etc) have an RSS reader built in and so do most email programs (ie Outlook, Mail etc). Google also have a system called Google Reader (which is by far the best feed reader) but probably more hassle for you than it is worth unless you already have a Gmail email account.

Whatever reader you choose, it will notify you when a new item has been added to the website.

The feed addresses for this blog are:
      Blog Posts: http://rogermontgomery.com/feed
      Comments: http://rogermontgomery.com/comments/feed

Warning: the comments feed gets a lot of posts but it is a great way to keep up with conversations that are occurring across the many blog pages

      Cheers,
      Matt

  4. G’day Roger,
Sounds like things are ticking over nicely. I checked under the couch and looked in the kid’s money boxes but still can’t scrape together the $1m for the [Private] fund. Anything in the pipeline for the retail investor?
    All the best,
    Greg

      • Roger this is just what I want to hear! Perhaps time for me to redirect some of my international investments to more value focused management

Yes Roger I have a $10K+ fund that I would consider changing over to a retail fund managed by your staff. I await the outcome with interest. I wish I could have bought your book six years ago as I have a lot of negative stocks on my books still. I am loath to sell them as I consider they were bought on purely future investment such as Lynas. So Value Able has helped me recently, good common sense wrapped up in a great book. So thanks for all your blogs, you give great service.

      • Hi Roger
Congratulations on the appointment. Recruiting quality people is a recognition that the successful Incumbents have a positive view of the Organisation’s future direction and the leader who is steering the future pathway.

In regards to the retail fund on the way, will it include Australian stocks and will there be a minimum investment requirement.

        Regards
        Ron
